    Under fuel tank aluminum plate

Just wanted to post a prop to Tim Whittaker at Kootenai Valley Customs. Just opened my package from him with the under tank plate...super nice piece, and probably the best packaging job you will ever see.

The part I produce is actually a two part piece that can be added to a finished car.

I'd second that. WELL WORTH THE MONEY just to keep out the debris and road grime! Excellent fit. Thanks Tim!!

Thanks Nick !!! I'l be developing side pieces to compliment the sill plate as well as an additional piece for the wheel well sealing panel and the door latch cover panel I offer so that the areas are totally sealed off.

Looks like the factory though it was a good idea as well as the door latch cover. Standard parts on the new kits.

Tim makes some nice stuff, his side pieces are well worth it IMO.

Thank you sir. More to come. Secondary piece to the door seal, under body seal, electric power brakes, grill surround, "bolt in" IRS, front and rear sway bars and more. The delrin bushings for the front suspension are now available for shipping as well.

    Tim

What have you seen to confirm those parts were added by FF and do they have part numbers listed somewhere on them?
    Also
Not sure what the part is you mentioned above but I have been meaning to ask this. Have you noticed how weak the top of the doors are after
cutting the holes for the windows? There is very little left of any horiz areas so the two skins are way too pliable. Not sure what kind of part
could be glassed in on the underside without getting in the way but it really needs something low profile in there to add back some strength.

    Any thoughts?

    Hi Dale,

FFR sent out an update to the manual last month via e mail. The new parts were in that e mail. Just out of curiosity, I called to see what the price was. Same as I have listed for mine.

I have had several people mention a part for the top of the door as you describe. It could be a part easily made out of metal but I believe most just live with it or add glass from the under side. If I had more requests for a part to fill that need, I would produce something.
