What type of insurance do you guys use (if any) while building the car? Home owners insurance doesn't cover cars, and auto insurance won't cover a pile of parts.

Check with your agent, but your homeowner's should cover the kit parts as part of your home's contents, permitting that you have adequate content coverage to cover the value of the kit.

Bumping an old tread. Since I'm finally got my engine running and in go-cart stage I felt I could no longer put off insuring my build. In NJ there are limited writers. American Collectors and Midwest were two that would cover the build. Robbin had the best terms and pricing and was a Breeze to deal with (pun intended). He totally understands what we are building and what we need.
Highly recommended!!!! Thanks Robbin.
