Now you have me signing that in my head to the rice-a-roni song... Seriously, I was concerned that there would be a neg connotation in some circles about that "import or ricer" moniker... When you think about it from the "World Platform" standpoint though, we are designing a great sportscar that will ALSO be capable of bringing the FFR experience to more people around the globe.

So, we are talking about more than just a "San Francisco treat" here?

Great concept and a perfect extension of the original 'single donor' idea.

+1. I'll probably be shot down for being PC, but over here the term 'ricer' does have a racist connotation.

I hate the entire PC trend of the last decade. What I did mean is that I was concerned that guys like my friend, Art Totten, who literally bleed Ford Blue, would not like the idea of an import-powered FFR. I was confident however, that once the entire design was revealed, it would be a hit.

That's another thing. I hope this place is a place where people can respectfully disagree without concern of being attacked or "shot down".

i personally hate the ricer vs us performance stuff & I have dealt with it since 1991 here at the store. ANYTHING can be made to go fast anything. Personally i have always loved the onset of boost in my cars but also enjoyed the torque of a v8 when i had them. As to the derogatory meaning of ricer, I have heard them all. The 2 best ones are m.o.p.a.r. [move over pontiac approaching rapidly] and the german car equivalent to rice sauerkraut!
