2005 Factory Five Racing Challenge Car
The Challenge Car model is the professional competition racing version of the Type 65 roadster. The race car is designed single-mindedly for racing dominance, and with this California based Challenge car you’ll be able to run with the best… and do it the right way, with safety and performance.
Built from the foundation of the proven 65 roadster chassis, the modified challenge car chassis meets SCCA GT1 design criteria and has been seriously upgraded in all areas to address the specific needs of the competition driver.
I am selling my 2005 Factory Five Challenge Car with an extra set of wheels, two transmissions and the spares listed below. I am the original owner and racer. It has been a very competitive car, better than the driver. It is in great condition, very clean and very well built. The car meets the original specifications or previous rules that do not include the power and brake upgrades, but the spares package includes the parts and upgrade kits needed to meet the new rules. This car does not have a passenger seat. To make this vehicle physically street legal it would need the lighting wired up, a horn and a windshield added. The car is located in Corona, California.
