Emergency brake cables

I have rear from FFR with discs mounted on leading edge.
The cables (from FFR) are mounted per manual on passenger side. Seems satisfactory although the cable hanging back there by pan hardbar is funky.
The drivers side seems to be a little short for a neat or safe routing.
my cables are 73 1/2'long with 49" sheath marked 14690 2193W.

Perhaps some of you may have a better idea or routing.

Hey stacked, quick question for you, was perusing your pictures, and noticed you used teflon tape on your brake fittings, I was always told this was a big no-no to keep small pieces from entering the brake system. Were you having leaking issues?

You could be right. I have heard the same for fuel lines too but I still do. I am very careful not to get it too close to the end so it can get inside. I worry more about galling if I put them together dry. So far I have never had an issue.

No teflon tape. The seal is made by the flare and fitting. Don't overtighten, either. Snug but not tight. Tef tape is for pipe fittings.

It was on the pipe threads I use it. Not on the flare fittings.

Did you get it worked out?

From the looks of things, Stacked's rear brakes are on the rear of the rotors. Mine are the 11.65 FF5 option which the instructions have you putting them on the front side. I have the same issue with my driver side brake. I did find a picture that had the cable going just forward of the shock. I tried running mine through there but the fitting on the end of the sheath won't quite fit. Ugh!!! It seems like it would work otherwise.

My solution was to get the Lokar cables. They are longer and allow a better routing.
