    dash update

Worked some more on the dash and console.

Gauges are angled back in line with the steering wheel angle for better visibility and sun shade.

    View from seated position

Rounded the edges on the gauges and switches with the router.

    John -
Looking great -- this image is what I am aiming for in my Coupe - be able to see the gauges thru the steering wheel. I have the "modern" gauges - which are smaller. Had I known the Vintage gauges are bigger - I would have ordered those. Oh well. Might make more room for the oil and water temp gauges at 7 and 5 o'clock.

I thought you had a Momo wheel?

    Thanks Wayne,

I used to have the wood steering wheel but sold that and got a leather FFR wheel instead.
I have my dash parts at an upholstery shop right now. Getting a price for just materials, and a complete install on their end.

Aha! Now I see why you were inquiring about the Spyder GT dashboard, John. Yours seems to have its own flavor with a pinch of Spyder...

Did you ever get a hold of Bill for the Spyder dash? I like the end product, and he even closed the ends for me, at my request.

    Carlos,

If FFR had the spider dash for sale still, I probably would have bought it a long time ago. However now I've taken it a step further with my own view I guess. I did not talk to Bill but thanks for the referral!
