Any pictures installed to clear up the previous discussion on fitment with the ZDB AWIC?

And/or what is the return policy?

We do not have any photos installed that we have not shown. After spending some time with my tech it doesn't look like the bend will clear that third bolt. While the exhaust itself bolts into the 5th bolt I believe, the bend is right at the beginning of the third bolt. I am sure that the AWIC bracket could be modified though to compensate for the bend. Sorry for the confusion everyone.

As long as the product is in re-sellable condition and shows no signs of use then we can accept the return. We do not cover shipping, and the return may be subject to a 35% re-stocking fee.

EOD, a local guy to me was planning on picking one up. I emailed to see if he still is. If he does, I'll test fit it. If he doesn't, I'll buy one and fit it myself.

Edit: The local guy got one. When he comes over to check out my seats he'll bring the exhaust with him.

I test fit the plain exhaust today. It's a nice looking piece. Makes it look like a turbine engine sitting on top of your transmission. It does clear the bracket that I made. Maybe ~1/2" to 3/4" of clearance.

Here's a photo of mine mounted. It fits great! If anyone wants a photo of a specific angle, let me know and I'll try to grab a picture. Thanks for the awesome exhaust at an awesome price, AJW!

Wanted to say that I'm totally pleased with the final product(s), it was a long time in getting there but I'm glad I hung in and did not bale as this fits perfect, great quality and best yet I can change from straight pipe to resonator when needed. The pipe even came with a new exhaust gasket.

What is the final overall length of the system after the last bend where it exits the rear bumper? It looks very clean. Nice execution with this product AJW

I also wanted to add my thanks to AJW. The exhaust fits perfectly and exceeds my expectations. Good things sometimes take a little longer.

I like the system, but I was wondering if it will work for me based on the fact that I think Maryland requires a cat, and SCCA has a 100dB noise limit (measured 50 feet from the vehicle). Assuming I can put both a cat and a muffler on it, any idea what the sound level is at full throttle and 50 feet away? (excuse me if this has been addressed - searching this type of forum sucks)

Not sure if there would be enough room for both. Vibrant does make an ultra quiet resonator as well as a high flow race cat (pricey).

SCCA also measures 90 deg relative to the car so you might be able to get away with it. In my fmod I was passing and my co driver was failing sound. We figured out what it was. He was overdriving and drifting a corner making the exhaust point at the mic. I wasn't so the mic was at 90 deg.

Pictures of the Street race cat or street cat? Curious as to length and inlet/outlet diameters. Do you have pictures of any that you've created with these options?

When you say they require easy clamp seals - does that mean slip fit or v-band or what?

Also, for those of us using the Zero Decibel Motorsports AWIC bracket - could you put the o2 sensor bung in a different orientation to prevent interference between the two?

There's actually plenty of room for the o2 bung. My heat shield fits too.

We do not have photos of the street race cat, or street cat installed. Hopefully one of the members that purchased one of these options can chime in. If you visit the first page of this thread the sizes for the exhaust options are in the first post.

The clamps are vibrant easy seal clamps, you can find them on any summit racing parts store etc. they slide into each other and are clamped.

Apologies if this is a stupid question, but do we still need the downpipe? or does this come straight off the hot side of the turbo?

If I purchased with one of the cat set ups, what would the cost difference be to have another option of just straight pipe? Then I'd be able to swap between them with a simple swap using the easy clamps.

3" piping with street race cat and easy clamps comes to $321 on your website.

I am not 100% sure what you are asking here, are you looking to purachse a system with the cat options and then an additional base system? Giving you two downpipes, a cat, and 2 easy seal clamps?

I think he is just wanting to know if it's possible to remove the cat and reattach the straight pipe that was removed to install the cat.

Ah, I see. I don't think that it would be an issue if someone wanted to change it back and forth.

Just received my race model today. The middle bends are a little wonky. But otherwise looks good and welds are nice.

    Fast shipping as well.

Yes, but you would need to figure out some form of mounting system. The normal bracket will not fit correctly.

Was there any reason for not centering the pipe height wise ? seems to be fairly centered width wise but pipe is closer to bottom of rear area (like 1.25-1.5" from botom)
