Will this work on a JDM v8 cluster?

Installed mine this morning. Piece of cake, and confirmed it shows as zero after powering up. I've never worked on a circuit board before but used a basic soldering and desoldering kit from amazon and it was no trouble at all. Took maybe a half hour even with my two year old watching over my shoulder. Thanks!
EEPROM sales will be coming to an end soon. I have 6 EEPROM04Green and when they are gone that will be it. I lost the virtual machine disk image that all the EEPROM images on it so I don't have the ability to program any of the others at this point.
It's OK I was thinking I would wind this down soon anyway.
So, if you have a '04 or '05 WRX as your donor and you want to reset to 000000 get one of the last six while you can.

This is a really great service, it's too bad that you can't keep doing it. I use an older netbook with XP with my programmer. You could buy a used XP machine on ebay or craigslist and keep doing it.
I have a machine back up and running. The problem is that I lost the files that contain the images of the data for the EEPROMS. I could possibly regenerate the data if I got a hold of the appropriate clusters again or if a few people that bought EEPROMS from me, that haven't installed them yet, sent them back to me temporarily so I could copy them. The truth of the matter is that sales have dropped off dramatically. I haven't sold any for nearly two months so it's not really worth it to keep it up.
Larry
I was also really hoping to get my cluster done. Haven't gotten to PMing you and asking if you'd do the whole install. I don't feel confident in the least in doing this type of soldering work on my cluster.
I live in NoVA, so probably not that far from you.
I dont need the chip that you sent me for a 2004 WRX so I can send it back if it helps out at all.

I have been able to recreate the files for the Red, Blue and Yellow EEPROMS. Basically all the USDM models. I have 18 parts left that can be programmed with any of those three configurations. Once those 18 are gone I plan to quit selling them, so get them while you can!
Larry
any left for 05 cluster?
Hey Larry,
I noticed you have a metric option for a tach that has a 9k rpm gauge in the centre. Is there anyway that can be applied to a tach that has the 9k rpm gauge on the right and was for a 2002-2003 wrx and still get metric units? If I installed an american EEPROM into a metric speedometer do you know how well the km speedo and the odometer in miles would work together?
Thanks,
Ian
Now down to about a dozen parts left.
Larry
I'm down to 10 parts left. I've decided to end this little venture at the end of this month. If you desire one of these, order by the end of the month. I will hold a couple of parts back in case anyone that has already purchased one runs into trouble.
I'm not going anywhere so if you have any questions let me know.
Larry
I need one for my 2006 wrx cluster.
Only one week left until the end of the month. If you want a EEPROM to reset your odometer order before the end of the month.
Larry
Hi Larry:
I'd like one for my 2006 WRX.
Thanks... Jeff
Hi Larry,
I thought you were getting out of this last year, and I thought you were out of the ones I wanted, but thought I would at least check on your status and availability.
Not sure if the ones you have yet are compatible with a Canadian 2002WRX. If so, I'm interested.

Larry,
My son installed your odometer reset chip last night. (He studied engineering for two years before switching to math.) The new chip works perfectly. The odometer now reads "0." This was an easy job and the result is well worth your fee and effort.
Thanks again.
John
I would recommend Larry to any builder. Great communication with his customer and end product as expected.
