    New York registration

Does anyone know where I can buy front and rear lenses for my MKIII that are DOT approved? I'm trying to register it in NY and one of the requirements is all DOT lenses. I'm new to this forum, if there is anyone in upstate NY that has a Cobra replica I'd really like to ask a few questions.
    Thanks,
    Steve K.

I can help with the entire registration process in NYS. Take a look at this thread, it answers a ton of questions. http://www.ffcars.com/forums/50-insu...n-process.html

Used to be able to get the lenses thru **********, but I think she has been winding down operations.
Try Snake doctor.com, I believe they have DOT certified lenses.

Steve, I live upstate between Rochester and Buffalo. My project is actually a Austin Healey replica but I could use your help. I am looking for a windshield frame and glass for mine and working with Dan Golub over at Factory Five we believe the one utilized on the Cobra is close. Before I pull the 800. trigger on spec i am looking to visit someone with either a completed project or one under way that has the frame. Could you tell me what city you are in, possibly e-mail me at [email protected] or call my home at 585-659-2615?? Would love to talk with you or anyone within a 4 hour drive of Rochester. Am also a pilot so distance is not critical so long as the snow up here behaves.

    Thanks in advance,
    Paul

    Rscocca,

Thanks for the information, I am a transplant from Stony Brook. My brother in law left his home in Centereach and is driving up here this morning, almost had an ideal delivery system. What do you need for the frame to cover it and the shipping??

    Hi Paul.
I'm in Lido beach, I need to shoot over to my garage in Port Washington to pick frame up. that will be done this morning.
I can then ship it out first thing Tuesday.
Don't worry about any fees for shipping or frame, its just collecting dust right now.

I'll confirm when I have it in my hand.
If you need to reach me my Cell # is 516-801-3236

    Cheers,
