FFR friends and Family: A pair of sprints races are in store at the Mazda Speedway in Monterey. Steve will be piloting the Myraceshop, Mendeola GTM this weekend. We will also be testing the new LS3/525 and gear box that will be used in the upcoming 25 hour race. We have been working with the new Hoosier s-100 series race slicks and now switching over to Yokohamas new and improved race slick. Lots of fun and excitement as Chris Durbin (former PDG driver) will be flying in from the East coast to for the weekend driving his SLC in the SU class. Also in attendance will be scheduled, LMPC Panoz, 2 Normas in our SU class. The Panoz and Normas are really no match for us, but still makes for great racing.

All are invited to come and help or hang our with the team

Last out, Davy Jones drove the GTM at Sonoma. Davy drove an excellent race proving why he is the most decorated road racer in America. Although the GTM was no match for the Norma and Panoz, it was a great time had by all! Davy's daughter, Carrera, changed tires and cleaned windows and Davy's sister happened to be in San Fran for the day and stopped by. Jim's cousin and brother attended and it became a family reunion of sorts that made the weekend one to remember for a long time! On Sunday, a GT3 Porsche entered with fresh rubber and took the third position away from us at the end. PDG ended the weekend with a third and fourth place finish in the SU series putting us only 165 points out of first. With 8 races remaining, we will see what Steve can do at Laguna.

See you at the races,
Team PDG
