    Given that I really only have weekends to work on this, and given my wife's added motivation to make room in the garage for more cars... I think I'm about 1 year away from done. Agree?

    What's done:
    1) Donor tear down & parts clean-up (took 1 year)
    2) Aluminum panels
    3) Body buck
    4) Rear-end install
    5) 5-Lug conversion front & rear
    6) Fuel tank install
    7) Fuel lines
    8) Brake lines
    9) Pedal assembly
    10) Brake booster
    11) Seats
    12) Wheels + tires
    13) Engine mods : upper/lower intake, water pump, alternator, PS pump, 24# injectors
    14) Engine + tranny install
    15) Radiator install
    16) Wiring
    17) Hidden battery mod (trunk)
    18) Secret compartment mod (trunk)
    19) Mid-trunk separator mod + rear cubby hole
    20) Stereo, speakers + AMP install
    21) Stereo console mod (home made)
    22) Radiator hose, PS hose
    23) First start
    24) MAF replace
    25) Dial-in timing
    26) Air + exhaust leak fixes

    What's left:
    1) Fan electrical shorting
    2) Connect thermo switch
    3) Why is Oil temp always max
    4) Relocate coil
    5) Install remote reservoir
    6) Cut fuel filler neck
    7) Align front-end to center
    8) Install clutch cable
    9) Mount T5 support frame
    10) Install drive shaft
    11) Tighten down ECU
    12) Intall foot box top trap door
    13) Tie down engine wiring
    14) Tie down trans tunnel wiring
    15) Install exhaust hanger bolts & rubber
    16) Install T5 wire from harness
    17) Install hazard rocker switch & tie-in
    18) Resolve battery charge issue (alternator wiring)?
    19) Carpeting
    20) Water-tight speaker enclosures
    21) Tie-down speaker wiring
    22) Other aluminum
    23) Dead pedal
    24) Ready for Body-on
    25) Door clearance adjustments
    26) Lights & tests
    27) Bumpers
    28) Sand/fill body
    29) Paint
    30) Finishing chrome

    Sounds great John, glad you're making progress. I love it when you get to the point on a project when you can actually list the things that need to be finished on one sheet of paper. Now you just have to go down and check them off one by one.

    You might have one more to add to the list, remove the FB weather stripping from the hood opening 3/4" rails.
    On the sides of the FB's I used window air-conditioning insulation.

    Jakester,

    I found that when doing the pick list, it was more helpful and more hopeful to do a must be done list and then everything else list (it kept me focused). That way, only the things necessary for it to be put on the street and registered were on the must do list. Adjusting doors, paint, dead pedal, finishing chrome can really take you a lot longer to get to that point. If you of the mind that all has to be finished before registering it then you are on track! Good luck, WEK.

    Could not have made it this far without someone's tig welder.
