    building the 818 r info

    Hi guys and gals,
new over here and looking for anyone that has some insight of racing the 818. We are about to take on the WEST COAST with one and wanted a heads up. I do have some road race experience, but want to be well prepared.

Thanks in advance for some info.

John George has the most wheel time behind the R, something to consider is your engine size as that may put you in a class that you not want to be in. I have a 2.0 so I will be able to run classes like SPU which keeps me out of SPM where I would have to battle the supper BMWs (GTR with V8). Hope to see you on the west coast racing.
