I have a spare MKII body and spare MKIII chassis.
What would the difference be between the two bodies?
Would a MKII body fit on the MKIII chassis?

A MkIII body fits on a MkII chassis, so this the reverse should be possible.

IIRC, the Mark III body was made a bit wider at the rear fenders to make it easier to fit 315 rear tires. Other than that, the two bodies are quite similar and mount to the frame the same.

thanks fellas.
I bought the MKII body a long time ago from an owner who swapped it for a carbon fiber body.
The chassis is an exact copy of my other MKIII chassis. (i built it on my welding table a few years ago to see if it could be done.)
