My Boyd tank came without any fittings. Any suggestions which fittings to use? I would like to find push-on stubs so I can use the FFR supplied push-on hose ends. It looks like the vent is 1/2" NPT and the fuel/return are 3/8" NPT.

My vent came pre-installed, but the other fittings sound right. Unless they started switching the fuel level sender before shipping, you'll have to reverse the float as it reads backwards. You basically mark the float arm, loosen the set screw, remove the arm and reinsert from the other side, and tighten. Then spin it around so that it moves freely in the tank. I used a barb fitting at the tank and used the quick disconnect fittings at my external filter. Enjoy the extra room.
