I think you, me and Goldwing are the only 818s in Ohio. So none are registered yet.
Take a look at this link. http://www.semasan.com/semaga/TagTitleToolbox_OH.pdf

Thanks bob! I am pretty sure that answered my question. I bought my donar from a dealer in Wisconsin. I never had it titled in ohio (hopefully that won't cause an issue, I just didn't feel like paying the tax on something I was gonna tear apart) but I do have the wi registered title and bill of sale for the purchase of the vehicle. So I think I should be covered.
Thanks for the link Bob! Chris (Akron) has worked with salvage vehicles in the past which goes through the same process at inspection time. He advised putting a binder together with all receipts, titles, etc. You want enough info to make the inspector feel very comfortable that nothing was stolen. Thus, old titles and vin plates are great to have. I plan on having receipts for smaller stuff too, placed further back, just to put forward a complete-looking, organized package. I believe the normal order of things is to pay Ohio sales tax upon receiving the new title, just as we would do if we were to register the original wrx. Mine was already a salvage title anyway. I have a receipt to go along with my salvage title. Did you get a receipt Doug? If it was a private sale, they want associated paperwork notarized. Not all states have notaries though, I am not sure about Wisconsin. Original business receipts are fine. A signed over title might be all that is needed for inspection. The receipt might be more applicable to determining sales tax owed.

But, since I haven't gone through the process yet, I'm just passing on what I've heard and speculating on the rest, lol.

I am in bowling Green:
So I called the state highway patrol, cause I am getting ready to get my inspection. I am bummed, he asked if it had wipers, It doesn't and I do not want to put them in, there is no reason to on a convertible with out a top In my opinion but its in the ohio revised code so he said it needs it, even if there manual. does a wiper arm stashed behind the seat that you grab, stand up, and swipe across the windshield foot the bill?
On the positive side he said we don't need a third brake light.
Anyone do any manual wipers? that could be temporarily "installed"

My wiper is the least intrusive and doesn't need any hood trimming.

The other thing that surprised me was the need for 4" tall 60" wide bumper than I had to add.
Stop by if you get down this way.

I like it bob... How do you actuate it? Under the dash?
Yours is not to intrusive but I really like this one. I could even keep a spare behind the seat...image.jpeg
Your are going to keep your spare grandma behind the seat?
Sorry if I misled you, mine is electric. Here is the motor. wipe.jpg

Bob,
Is the motor wipe 180 degrees? do you have a manf # or link for it?
Mine is 110 degrees,
I tried some 180 degree minivan rear wipers, the sweep was way to much.
Here is a link to my thread where I listed the parts.

Here is a video this past weekend using the wiper in a light rain.
