    Racelogic traction control

Since the poll thread seams to be unused, i figured i could hopefully get some better info here.

Can people give input on the Racelogic system? Installing, demonstrations, 0-60,1/4 mile, etc.?

I'm planning on using it but am a long ways away from starting on wiring, much less having stats for you.

I have installed, however my runs are driveway limited, but it does work, see video in the other thread. It was okay to install, I am waiting on a couple of things (time being one of them) to take it on the road and calibrate it. It is nice and you can dial in the amount of rear wheel slip.

Great. Thanks for input. Anyone else? There was a group buy, I know many people should have these.

On another note, why is nobody video recording 0-60 or 0-100 pulls? Is the 818 not meeting expectations?

    Reach out forum member Rumrunner.

He has a working Racelogic in his GTM and can give you the lowdown on it. For me when I rode with him, it kept us out of a corn field going around a highway circle, so I know that it works

When I do my build that is one option that is going in no matter what.

Mine will hopefully be up and running in October. I'll do videos, and timings of on/off and post it on the forum. There aren't many before/after type *facts* out there to be honest.

I have the Racelogic installed on my GTO (Twin turbo LS2, mid 600s whp, RWD).

    Detailed thread here: http://thefactoryfiveforum.com/showt...ol-for-the-818
    Install notes here: http://www.ls1gto.com/forums/showthr...1#post10834178

There is some good data in that first thread about how well it works.

The short answer is: It works, and it works VERY well. I am putting the same system in my 818, as there is no way I would drive a 600whp 818 without it.

They are not cheap, but it is the best aftermarket system I have seen. Install is pretty easy and straightforward.

Thanks for the links. I bought the system for my 818 already awhile ago. I was hoping some 818s had some experience with them already.
