    LSD Recommondations

I have my trans opened up and can't source a 1.5 LSD that is in stock (except in China).
I am still learning about the different LSD's out there and I don't yet trust my own judgement.
Can you please recommend a good 1.5 LSD for a 2004 wrx 5spd that is in stock somewhere in the US?
    Thanks in advance

I have the female axle version of that LSD (http://www.evasivemotorsports.com/mm...AIFE-DIFF-SUBA). I haven't started the car yet, so I don't have hands-on knowledge, but I think it's a good differential.

Clutch type diffs are usually preferred for the track. Helical differentials are more maintenance-free, but have some flaws. The biggest problem with a helical is that if you lift the inside tire, the outside one won't drive.

There is a vender on the forum that imports the quaife and has good pricing.

DO you recommend any brand/models in particular for the clutch type LSD?

Really? Isn't the whole point of a LSD to drive the other wheel when one is spinning?

The helicals need the tire on the ground as they are torque biasing and not limited slip.

That is probably the last Modena available in the world. Somebody needs to jump on it. I was lucky to source a new one.
