Smile Connector Colors Rear Lights? So simple I'm almost ashamed to ask

Rather than do it the FFR manual way............. "Check the location of each wire within the plug by touching the wires to the bulb plugged into the
    socket.".......
I'd prefer to know the conductor functions by wire color.
    Help anyone?

No reply necessary.....I did it the FFR way.

Go to radio shack and buy a $10 multi meter. No excuse! Put the red probe on red wire and black probe on black wire. If the voltage reads negative, the black is the positive. If it reads positive, the red is positive.

    No kidding What an education.

That wasn't the original question. I was asking about the wire colors on the supplied lights.

Thanks all the same...I've sorted it out the FFR way.

I worked on this yesterday myself.

07 harness (in case it varies):
    Reverse light- Brown/Yellow
    Brake light- White/Black
    Left turn- Black/Green
    Right turn- Lt Green/Black
    Running Lights- Red/Yellow

    FFR brake light:
Running Light - Brown (wire to Red/Yellow)
Ground - White (wire to Black)
Brake - Red (wire to White/Black)

    FFR turn/reverse light (no pigtails):
    Ground - Middle position
    Reverse - Outside position
Turn - The other outside position
(If the reverse/turn lights are wired reverse when you test it, flip the bulb 180* in the socket and done)

Mark the applicable wires on the headlight plugs as well while you're at it to save a little looking later!
