Just for info the orange 818S does not have a front sway bar. I felt it handled better without it. JMO.

If I really rip on the STI it has a fantastic feel, and in the bends it just sticks. The GTO on the otherhand floats along but has such smooth accelerations regardless of when you punch it. Different boats, but all fun!
So you'll be saving the 818 for the Wilson River Highway?

so, how would an 818 feel if it were to have 442 ft-lbs torque from 0 rpm right up to about 3000, with AWD to get it to the pavement? Also, if it were to have a 50/50 weight distribution . . . although the more I read, less I think this is ideal..... hmmm....

All electric 818 with 2 pancake motors in the front for awd (off the line) bursts would be outrageous. 100% Tq available at 0 rpm.

It will have one Permanent Magnet water cooled AC motor in the front and one in the rear. Both using single speed Borg Warner drives. Takes the fun of shifting gears away.... but then again, no time lost either...

"but"? . . . I would say enough to get around a track a time or two. . . lol. The battery is the only major component I don't have yet . . . unless you count the wheels/tires. I haven't decided . . .however, I don't think it makes sense to put too much capacity. Its just more weight and more money. My truck has 200 km range . . and that is a bit much. . . at least for me and most ppl. As long as you don't use it for trips, it's more than adequate to have 80 to 100 miles. Heck my Volt only has 40 mile range and it does most ppls needs. It's always full every morning and when I leave work too. My wife drives a V50 and she never has more than 50 miles range. . . that dam car is empty every time I get in it. . .literally! $10 dollar gas purchases . . . I just don't understand...
