    Gauges and Warning System

I've always been a proponent of installing gauges that have programmable warnings built in, but even a blinking red light may not be enough in some circumstances. The blue FFR 818 car that overheated due to a coolant leak is the most recent example of a failure that potentially could have been avoided if the rising temp had been noticed in time.

Does anyone have plans to use something big and possibly loud?

I'm thinking that something the size of a large shift light at a minimum and maybe a buzzer (with on/off switch).

Thanks Bob, that looks like a good start. Are you doing anything on this front?

The 40212 dual rate alarm actually lists the dB (90 min.), while the others don't. I wonder what is needed in an 818 with a helmet on.
