Day 1 yesterday was inventory day and didn't find any missing items. Very impressed with the packing of the parts. Day 2 today got the body on the buck and installed the front suspension. No issues here other than cleaning the mounting holes with drill bit by hand to remove the powder coating.

Had a friend stop by with a pair of restored 1965 license plates for the County I live in. Very nice bonus for the build.

Have the rearend installed. I did some extra work on taper of the axle tube where it fits into the housing so the 3- link bracket would fit properly on the axle tube. Followed the Breeze installation link here: http://www.breezeautomotive.com/imag...stallation.pdf
I didn't weld all the way around the bracket but did plug weld the the cap with two 1/2 holes

That looks really good Rick. I like the silver panels. Hopefully I will get my rear end from Forte next week sometime. I was supposed to get my stainless steel tubes for my brake lines last Thursday. I ordered them from Inline Tube. They are way to slow. I don't think I will be ordering form them again.

Bouncing around a bit while waiting for the .090 FFmetal firewall to arrive to cut heater hole and send off for powdercoat I assembled the e-brake. With help from brother Ron we installed the flywheel, clutch, bellhousing and mated the T5. Plug wires are not cut to length yet so looks a little messy

January was a busy Month with travel, work and family and didn't get much accomplished on the build. Back at it here in Feb and finished up sheet metal and have the wiring held by zip ties.

Looking great! Just a quick hint. I see you have the back cockpit wall just cleco'd in place. I would suggest you not attach it permanently until you complete the trunk sheet metal. Otherwise you're going to find some of the rivet locations in the trunk panels are hard to get to unless you can get the rear cockpit wall out of the way. Both for drilling and to set the rivets.

Spent a few days in CA this week and was able to stop by Banshee (Kevin) place in Morgan Hill, CA to take a look at his Coyote build he just finished. In a short hour Kevin showed me some very nice detail features I will incorporate in my build Thanks Kevin. Returned home at 1:30 am this morning and had no plans for what happen today. Couple of my brothers Ron and Rodney stopped by to use my lift and to help with anything I had going on. with in a few minutes we decided the Engine was going in. Rounded up 4 old wheels and tires to roll the car out of the garage so we'd have more room to pick the engine with forklift and install. It was a nice sunny day and the engine slipped in about 15min.

Shoot Ed I have been ref. your build the whole way and missed that one. It's in permanent now and getting ready for the Lizard Skin in the cockpit. Will probably get the trunk sheet metal in and spray all in one shot.

Great looking build. I was wondering what made you decide to put your battery up front. (Sorry if I might of missed that in the thread.)

No problem. Just make sure when you lay out the rivet locations of the trunk pieces up against the cockpit wall that you can reach them with your drill and whatever you're using to rivet. Some tools can get closer than others.

With a Small block there is plenty of room up front. The breeze battery box is a nice product. You can run a 500 CCA group 51 Battery. Less battery cable running from the front vs back

Thanks for the reply.. makes perfect sense. I like your engine and carb setup. I really was leaning toward the 15" Halibrands until I priced tires and mfgs. actually making them in those sizes.. Now I might be looking at 17's. Thanks for the updates on your build.

A productive weekend, Installed the Radiator with Breeze shroud, upper and lower mounts. Also used the Breeze upper and lower hoses. Had help from my brother Ron tackling the wiring and installed the MSD box. I opted not to use the remote solenoid and wired direct to the High Torque Mini Starter. Pics of this will follow.

    Hello Rick,
a very nice clean build you have here. looks really great and I' looking forward to follow more posts and pics.
Since I'm in the planning of my build, I have one question about the footboxes. I see that you don't make some modifications here. If you compare the DS and the PS footbox, would it be possible to just copy and mirrow the DS footbox to the PS for more space? I'm thinking about this for geometric appereance but as well with an additional "suspended ceiling" to hide the heating system and the MSD box for cleaner look. Would the clearance to the heaters and the engine block be enough - with a small block as you have?

Thanks for having a look here for me... Georg

Nice work Rick; your ripping through it! Like the silver powder coating and the Cobra oil pan!

Very impressive build! Very clean, with lots of great parts. Are you planning to paint it silver?

    Hi Georg

Thanks for the nice comments. Your mind will probably change many times during the planning stages. There are some great folks here with more fabrication skills than mine to answer your question about the footbox mod. Good luck with the planning and build
