    Center diff and Transfer gears

    So,
I was thinking today, Most of us pull the transfer gears, center diff and rear plate out of the trans, and do what with them? Toss them? recycle? Probably.

well, if they're still good I'll buy them off you. I do a lot of Transmission rebuilding, and there's always a demand for cheaper good parts with the 17-25yr crowd.

Message me if you have your transfer gears and center diff still, with nothing to do with them.

    thanks
    Rusty

and for reference, Here's a pic stolen from our lovely Mechie3's 818E build thread.

everything on the ground is what I want. Gears need to be unchipped/broken, and the center diff needs to still have it's snap ring in place.

These should fit into a large flat rate box ( I'll confirm tomorrow, but I recall them fitting fine).

Responded to all PM's thanks guys.

Hi can any body confirm the small bearing race is not installed in this picture? I either threw it out or it is still installed, I would not think it is due to all the handling from cleaning and painting, thanks Donimage.jpg

If you are talking about the bearing race that some are accidently leaving in the transmission. Yours is gone.

Yeah, i always use new bearings when installing. and Like to use new bearings whenever i'm inside a transmission (some customers want the $800 price cut for used bearings).

    so, no worries.

The center diffs do go bad. Find some sorry bloke who needs one and sell it to him.
