    Mitch

I am new here as I have just bought a 7 year old type 65 coupe kit and have some issues I will try hard to not be a nuisance . Installing the front suspension with koni upgrade coil overs and FFR spindles. I have downloaded the install instructions and everything is cool but there are no vertical holes in this older frame to bolt the upper control arms to hence the shock hits and will not install. Is there an upgrade to remedy this problem. Or do I need too fabricate a vertical plAte for the control arm mount. ??
Also I really would like a photo of the rear cross member at the back of the car,, the three inch tubes where the IRS cage is supposed to mount. Specifically where the tbird third member fastens in front. Mine has been cut out by the previous owner and I need to rebuild it and cannot find any pics in the manual good enough to tell what it looks like.
    Thanks Mitch.

You will need to install a vertical mounting plate. You can do this out of a piece of angle steel. If you want feel free to ask me questions and I will help as best as I can. You can also reach me at 520-494-2745.

Thanks Gordon you are a gem. Got past that little hitch and your help on the shocks was great. Going to alter the older lower control arms and add some 3/16 plate to reinforce them where I have to cut out the round tube.
I am now in the messy and aggravating process of changing the half shafts. Or SLIPPING the shafts out of the cv's
With a large punch and a big hammer. Thanks for your help.
