    Good angle gauge

My cheap Harbor Freight digital angle gauge is not reliable and consistent enough to use for wheel alignment. Anyone know of a better one? - Preferably less than the cost of a 4 wheel suspension alignment

I have the same set up as Wayne posted but I will say that an iPhone is surprisingly good especially for a street alignment.

Great suggestion on the smartphone! I just installed the clinometer app on my G2 and seems to work well... 0.1degree precsion and with calibrating it with a bubble guage should be pretty accurate. I may end up having my homebrew alignment checked at a shop, but I'm pretty confident in the approach now. So... do I futz around with strings or just get the Longacre toe plates for ease of use?

On the topic of home applied suspension alignment: for front caster, does one have to turn wheels left and right 20degrees (standard procedure) or would it be correct to place an angle gauge directly on the front of the IFS bracket to read degrees of positive caster?
