    Up & running again!

Well I am up and running again I guess about a little over a month now.

A hairdryer fixed my computer.......lol long story...lol Anyhoot, can't believe a hairdryer actually fixed my power supply problem.

I wasn't about to give up that easy, so I kept doing searches on Google, asking different questions, and came up with one about using a hairdryer. I tried it and it worked!

Just turn on the computer and run the hairdryer on high/hot into the fan on the pwr supply until the green light goes from flashing to solid, then the computer stays on. Has been working ok ever since. Go figure!

What?? I've never heard of that fix. Was this a tower? What was the issue?

Hi David, it was the tower. I had no power on when turning on the power on button, nothing. So I took a known power supply from another computer and still nothing other then a flashing green light on the power supply. Then I tried changing the CMOS battery, nothing. So I figured it had to be either in the pwr on/off button or the motherboard. Then I did a search again and came up the the "hairdryer" thing. I found the solution on a few forums. I know sounds crazy. Even on some forums the tech guys could't figure out why it works, but it does.......lol
