Where does this jumper go to hook up factory ecu to laptop?

I bought the cable setup and downloaded the software from Tactrix to get rid of codes in the K818S build. I am not sure where this blue jumper goes. I have a 2002 WRX donor harness and ECM. I understand where the other 2 parts go but not this little jumper. Any help is appreciated. This will be a learning deal for sure. I miss Wayne's ECU and harness already. LOL.

The two green ends under the dash plug together, I believe the one that re flash adapter goes on to is more of a clear plug, just google 02 wrx re flash connector and there should be pictures in the images section. It's been a while since I've owned an older wrx, all the new ones you don't need that.

Yeah, the 2 green ones get plugger together. there are usually 2 more plugs right next to them, it will only fit into one of them. I don't even look at the color any more, just plug them in by feel.

Two green together for test mode and mapping

There is a white connector you plug the blue one onto, or just jump the white. The blue plug provided will only fit the with plug which is near the green ones and obd2 port.

You must configure this correctly to map and log.

    Jump white

Here's the connector jumped, or where you plug blue connector onto.

If we leave the green connectors connected or leave the white jumped, will the car start or drive?

I'm not sure about the white, but leaving the green connected is like a test mode where the front fans constantly turn on and off. It does start and drive like that however.

You can leave it jumped, but for the green ones follow the prompts of your tuning program to connect them together and disconnect them etc.

^this, the re flash (blue) can stay on all the time, but the greens have to be disconnected. My friends and I usually wire up the green plugs into a switch, so it's easier to put the car into test mode. I have mine hooked up on my switch panel so I don't have to keep connecting and disconnecting them.
