    Cool Type 65 coupe

I would like to know if there is anyone that owns a Factory Five Type 65 coupe that I could try to sit in to see if I fit. I am 6'2" tall. I would like to buy a kit and I live near Toronto Canada. If anyone could help me that would be appreciated.

I am not anywhere near you but I am 6'3" and fit in my coupe fine. Getting in and out is a little difficult due to the small door and roll cage. I used the Kirkey seats mounted on the floor.

    Hi Woo

There are a couple around the GTA -MikeJones is in Barrie, TonyG is in the east end of Toronto and Fluge is in London I beleive. You could try to send them a PM to see if they could help you out (the cars may be put away for the winter right now though). Mike was kind enough to let me check out his coupe a couple of years ago. I 've always meant to go look at Tony's, but didn't have a chance yet. I have sat in two coupes and I agree with wallace18, it is a bit of a trick to get in and out - but once you are in and sitting there is quite a lot of room. I am only about 5' 8" though.

    Thanks John

Thank you for your reply wallace18. I have a drag car and I know all about squeezing in. It's good to know that once you are in it's fine. Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Thanks for your reply John. I will try to find a way to find these guys. I'm new at forums but they are very helpful when you need them. I am glad that Wallace18 assured me that once I'm in it is
comfortable. You have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

Steve in Kitchener might be able to help. It's been a few years since I've seen him, though, so I'm not 100% sure he still has his.

I'm 6'3" and I fit/ Seat selection and pedal set up is critical to how comfortable you will be in the car.

Woo, I'm in Barrie. You're welcome to come for a ride. I sometimes am in Toronto for work though nothing planned this week. My son is 6'1" and fits fine. My seats are on sliders but rarely moved.

I had so much problem getting in the first time after the body was on, I thought I'd have to sell the car. Once you figure out how, it's pretty easy.

I'm not here too often, you can also reach me at mikejones3332001 at gmail dot com

    Regards, Mike
