    Another Hot Rod begins!!!

    Hi Guys,

I am not much of a poster, but wanted to greet everyone on the same journey as me. I received my kit Dec 21 and am just getting moving again after the new year. I am modifying the rear end and adding a watts link, and I am also removing adding driver/passenger side hoops instead of roll bar. In any case that is why the frame is bare, it will be coated soon as parts I am waiting on arrive and I weld them in.

This has given me opportunity to assemble most "sub" assemblies and mock things up.

Here are some pics for you all.

Looking great. That engine will give you more than enough power to melt tires.

Thanks Doug.....I have been shopping TC and not certain which way I will go. Race Logic looks like one option, I am just not certain yet about compatibility with misfire detection on the Ford ECU. I need to inquire about disabling it. The other option is using a standalone ECU with TC and multi stage triggered boost control. I think this would really help to keep the wheels pushing instead of painting the asphalt with them. I really have been researching the (Cosworth) Pectel SQ6M, MOTEC's new M1 and FAST. I had already purchased FR engine swap kit that included ECU but I am not married to that at all. Active braking along with engine management and we will keep things sticking .........I HOPE

My vote goes to picture 3 but I admit I'm a bit bias since I'm going w/ orange and a dark gray. Where do u find the time to paint your car over and over LOL.

I like #3's layout, maybe go with a dark red, or violet, or maybe purple instead of the green. I also like #5.

I have the House of Color digital paint booth also but I don't have that many choices of wheels, maybe I have an older version.
