    LS6 Revived

I attempted to start it Sunday evening with no luck. The fuel pump was not coming on. It would fire but not run. With advice from LSMan and Luck131969 from the corvette forum I discovered that I did not ground SP122 to G105. It was a ground wire on the engine harness near the oil filter. After grounding it and securing a few items that I did not want touching the Cat Pipes. I proceeded to start the LS6. It fired right up with a rough idle. So I pumped the throttle pedal just enough to keep it running while the PCM learned idle. After a few minutes the LS6 was purring beautifully. I couldn't have reached this milestone in this amount of time without the help of LSMan.

Oh...and please disregard my kids and their excitement in the background..

Awesome job! It's wonderful to hear that engine running eh? At this pace you will be on the road in no time.

Love the kids in the background. Not too many dads build their own car. I'm sure they are proud.

    All,
Thanks for the comments. Couldn't have made it to this milestone in this time frame with you.

    C,
It was tedious. I had never taken on a wiring project of this magnitude, not to mention working with the C5's Serial Data Bus System, but I wasn't afraid of the task. My Bachelor’s is EE and I was a MECP mobile install tech prior to going to Officer Candidates School.

Thanks for the great comments. My site is a little behind right now. I'm usually able to update it during the weekdays. Thanks again.
