Hello everyone! Is there someone who has built a 33 with a small block chev old school. What alternator bracket did you use?
I have not done it on a FFR 33 but on a 34 I used powermaster brackets. They are good quality and have several different configurations.
They were the only brackets I could find to clear the frame and the steering rack. There customer service is also great. If you dont already have the alternator they can set you up for that also. I used a long water pump and standard belt system with no power steering or a/c.
Go to powermaster web site they show all the brackets and very good measurements.

Dave,
I have the SBC and did not like the big upper driver's side mount, so I got creative on the pass side. It took a couple of eBay items, the upper adjustment mount with spacers and the lower mount was from another. But it works great.

I am also using a SBC. I was having the same issue and found a bracket from March pulley.

Thanks I will do my research.
