    wiper trany problum

    has anyone had a problem putting the wiper tranny together the shaft on mine one is shorter then other one and does not go throught the ffr bracket any help

    What year donor? my 02 donor stuff fit just fine. I did have to clean out the holes though.

    found the problum ffr welded it wrong i have to cut 1/2 in off left side mine has same size on both ends

    Mine fit fine as well. BUT they do leave out one important step. You need to grind the wiper post base on the drivers side or the square corners will dig into the windshield surround the first time you turn them on. The manual doesn't say anything about it but it does show the edges square on page 501 then the next few pages show them rounded over. They obviously had the same issue.

    I am pretty sure the manual states that the long wiper goes on the short arm and the short wiper goes on the long arm. The long arm goes on the passenger side and the short on the drivers. When I set them up that way I think to much of the drivers side wiper sticks up to far into the windshield with the wipers in the park position. Has anyone else seen this? If I lower it then I don't get a full sweep at the top of the windshield.
