    Post 818R project for sale

Amazing opportunity for right person. This is a textbook 818R project on its way. Firewall and front suspension is assembled. Rest parts 99% prepared, low miles 2006 WRX car with turbo parted out and ready to assemble (supposedly the best car to pick?). Very nice powder coat preparation on most metal done. Engine and transmission were in operating WRX/car and are now all stored indoors. Few little things on list to buy (new rear trailing arm, one wheel, one tie bar) but other than optional track day add ons you are within $500 of a complete racing car with all the carbon fiber tail and body parts and Kirkey racing seat. Rough tally of money in the Garage spent to date on this project to build the 818R is $35,000-$40,000 and a hundred hours done. personal issues are shifting my attention fully away from this project, willing to freely let it out of my hand to right offer/person. From here it is mostly just hard work and time. 200 hours should more than finish this in theory, and the first 818 build class is weeks away at Motts College. pm now, this one will probably go to the first serious buyer. Will sell at below cost or OBO. Im thinking $32,000 is a good price for buyer and seller, but come take a look Photos soon.

For a car not completed, not fully built engine and not painted etc this might be a bit steep, but the right buyer may present the funds your looking for. Post more specs of parts and pics.

I think most of the finished and sold cars went for less.. you might have better luck if you break down all the parts you have invested. good luck with sale

how did you manage to spend 40k on an unfinished mostly unassembled car?
A well stocked beverage fridge is the key to any successful project.
