    Another new one in AZ

Guess it's about time I posted something...

I've been lurking for years. Finally last July I pulled the trigger and ordered a MKIV kit, which was delivered in early October.

So far I've got suspension, brakes, sheet metal, dash, fuel tank installed. Last weekend installed wheels & tires so it's officially a roller.

Hopefully I'll drop the engine in Saturday so all the ancillaries can commence.

    Specifics:
Base kit (with many options and additional parts ordered since)
    Tubular front lower control arms
    Manual rack & pinion
    Wilwood brakes
    Powder coated frame
IRS - MK-VIII with added 3.55 gears, Auburn pro locker
Ford Racing 427 crate engine with TKO-600 (thanks to Mike Forte; an example of an evolving plan as originally I was going to use a 302)
    Headers w/SS sidepipes
    - and various other things that escape my memory at present.

Plan is for British Racing Green paint with brown leather upholstery and walnut veneer dash. And no hood scoop.

    Hi AAZ,

Welcome to the forum. That sounds like a real monster you're building. Keep it between the ditches! I think my little 302 is trying to kill me. I can't imagine 500 hp in this car.

    Good luck,

    WEK.
