    daytona windshield wiper

I got my coupe in January this year and at this point I am working on the windshield wipers. What I need to know is where do you mount the winshield wiper motor, do you mount it on the passinger side and wrap the worm gear drive around to the two wipers? No room on the drivers side to put the motor? Any help would be appriciated. Thanks Dennis

Do you have the installation instructions? The motor goes on the passenger side then the gear drive goes through the passenger side wipe and then to the driver side wiper. It does not wrap around anything.

Here are 2 photos to get you started. I mounted mine on the passenger side in the corner. I made the bracket for the motor and bolted it to the frame. I used brake line tubing for the cable.

If you are going to use the self park feature you will need to install the gear boxes opposite to what I did (turn them 180 degrees). I tried doing that way but the cable arc was too sharp so I left it the way you see it. I have to park the wipers manually but I don't plan on using them often.
