    Gas pedal stop

Anyone have pictures or details of their gas pedal stops? The way I have everything mounted the pedal is WOT and has a lot of space before hitting anything. I'd like to avoid bending the gas pedal arm if I'm hard on the gas. Putting a stop on the top of the gas pedal arm seems easiest but still allows for the gas pedal arm to get bent at WOT.

I have not done it yet on my car, but I was either going to put a bolt through the firewall with fender washers. Then adjust it with two nuts.
OR: Rivnut a 1/8" steel flat bar to the frame behind the pedals and do the same as above if firewall was too flimsy. I just don't want to be upside down under the dash right now. The R is a pain that way
    Thanks- Chad

Here is my gas pedal stop. I used a 3/8" x 2.5" elevator bolt.

Great picture. I have some spare aluminum that is perfect for this. Thanks!
