    June 13th FFR Open House

I'm heading down with, or without my GTM. Who am I kidding? I'll be driving anything but my GTM this year.
It's a 9.5 hour drive from Toronto, and will be worth every minute.

If all goes well, my arrival will be approximately 6:00 PM - just in time for dinner on Friday, June 12th. I'm
hoping to round up a few FFR members to hang with. Send me a message if you're interested!

How many of you are planning to attend?

What can we expect on Saturday at the open house? I'm sure we'll get a tour, and see a host of finished
    kits.

My camera will be fully charged, and extra memory cards will be handy. I can't wait to see these cars up close!

Is there a specific hotel where people are staying?

    Mike,

Last year we had to book at Plymouth Ma which was about forty five minutes from Factory Five. Email the factory and they can give you a list of hotels to try. Hopefully you can get a room in New Bedford which is half hour from the Open House. They have a nightly rate of $99.00 at the New Bedford Fairfield Inn as long as they have room availability, just mention that you are a Factory Five customer.

I'm booked at the Sandwich MA, Lodge which is right on my course coming from the North.

The Bedford Inn was 45 minutes further south-east from my travels, but I'll be sure to connect with you Ron.

If nothing is happening in the evening, we should get a bunch together for dinner/drinks after the open house.

I will be there. Let's not all forget about the 2nd annual Pre-open house BBQ (the night before the open house). Free brews and chow. Last year was fantastic with about a dozen people, lets double it this year. Who's in?

Hey Jim Nancy and I will be there. Last year's BBQ was great. Can't wait to get caught up with everyone this year.

BTW: Have you convinced the gentleman from Barrington to make a visit this year

    One week (about) to go!

Any new comers to the open house? I know of one more from 'the other forum' that is bringing his completed car. I'm getting anxious to see
these builds up close and steal some ideas.

Should be fun to hang with everyone too!

I'll try to get a boat load of photos for those that cannot make it.

I'm finally here after 10 hours, and 612+ miles of driving! Nice place.

A big thanks to Jim and his family for hosting/feeding us.

If you haven't met Jim yet, you are missing out.
This guy will literally have your back in an instant.

It was also great hanging with everyone else, and
    the 818 crew.

As I quoted in the photo link below, I truly know the meaning of g-machine now. That car hauls ***! Lucky I left when I did, Jim is a bad influence. We probably would have ended up in some sort of trouble.

Sorry meant to say Roadster. I wanted to call it a Cob*a but Jeff is correct. Roadster not coupe.

Glad to see you guys had lots of fun this year. We were not able to make it this year hopefully next year we will.

Yes, Jim is a bad influence but hell, that makes it a lot more fun.

Kempo...It was your rental car, so you are not too innocent either.

Besides, I need the horns to hold up my Halo.

Sure I was innocent. At some points it felt as if we had been carjacked by a deranged dare devil. In fact that would have been my claim if had gotten stopped by the cops. LOL
