    Under Body Fairings

    IMG_1949.JPGIMG_1953.JPGIMG_1955.JPG

Once upon a time, alone in the garage at my workbench and looking up at the underside of Yellow Bird, I had a brilliant idea of "boxing the frame" and adding "fairings" to the underside where possible.
Check out the result. I really need to get counseling !!

Nice work! I considered doing such a thing to my Challenge car after I quit racing it. I figured that if I smoothed out the air that collected under it, I'd REALLY be FAST!!!

looks great. That's some nice bead work on a couple of those panels. I like the idea of cleaning it up under there.

Looks like yellow bird is ready to fly to Bonneville!! Nice Job. Don't bother with the counseling...invest in zeus fasteners and more yellow paint.
