    20mm offset for the rear?

I have been looking at the 33mm and 35mm offset wheels but was also wondering abou the 20mm offsets I know this will push the wheels out another 13mm has anyone run these and if so how far did they stick out? and any rubbing?

    Lumpy,
    Please provide more information.
Offset without width and diameter is approaching meaningless.

Here is my info on the picture below.
    Rims, OEM 16/6.5 55mm offset
    Tires, 225/45ZR16 Toyo R888
Front measurement flush with straight edge.
Rear 3/4" inset. Tire rubs on lower trailing arm during hard cornering.

If you went with 255 tire with 20 offsets, you would get.
50mm (2") protrusion on the front.
30mm (1-1/4") protrusing in the back.

sorry yes I should have been a little more specific, I am looking at

XXR 530 wheels in the 17X8.2 +35 and the 18X8.8 in the +33 or 9.8 in the +20

but I have also been looking at squeezing in 18" on the front and 19" in the rear as well.

Bob, are you using spacers by any chance?

I don't want to quote C. Plavan, but I believe he is running 17x9, et 35 on the rear (et 40 +5mm spacer), and his wheels/tires are not sticking out of the fenders. It seems strange that your 2.5" narrower, 20mm higher offset wheels sit flush. Do you have any ideas why this might be the case?

Yep, that's what I'm running. They do not stick out with 245's (Hoosiers- they are really like 255's). I had rubbing on the inside trailing arm until I upgraded the rear links to rod ends (no give like the rubber bushings on prior.) I run 3/16" toe in with -2.5 camber in this photo (going back to -3 degree camber now) I could probably run 10mm without them sticking out up top.

    Thanks- Chad

    Hi Tamra,
I was not using any spacers. My picture above is very old, no alignment, rough body placement, not even sure if I had wagon or sedan lateral links in.
My 3/4" inset of the tire was just an eyeball measurement.
Not the best picture for detailed measurement.
