Been six weeks now since I paid me fee at the DMV for my kit car inspection. ridiculous. Called back twice now and no response. They probably keep putting me to the back of the line each time I call.

That is a bit frustrating. I am lucky that there will be a few of you who have gone through the MA registration process before I need to register mine. I hope they get to you soon!

Did you make an appointment? I've been calling and leaving a message every day for 3 weeks now and I have not received a call back yet. Ridiculous!
Every day for 3 weeks?! They are clearly ignoring you.
I went to Bridgewater and talked to the trooper. They are so understaffed. He told me they don't even have anyone in the office to listen to messages. They currently have 3 troopers covering 5 stations. I was told I am about 2 weeks from them even scheduling an appointment. I have already waited 6 weeks.
So the people that go to these inspection stations with repaired vehicles have it tough. The trooper told me when he leaves at 3:30 the line is already full for the next day. Apparently they spend the night there waiting to get in the next day. CRAZY. Love this state.
Mike
From the taxes you Mass. guys pay you'd think there would be more than enough troopers to go around.
Or start a new divisions in the DMV for repaired veghicle and kit inspections.

Well there goes all my plans for the car this year...Mike, do you think they will eventually call back or do I need to show up there?
I don't know. Maybe I should just register it with my donor title.
Well that's strange. Just got a call from the SP I have an appointment tomorrow at noon. Wish me luck.
Mike
Wow good luck! Let us know how it goes! And put in a good word for Eric Wingate!
I hope things go well. Michigan is a breeze.
Breezed right through the inspection process. Just have all your paper work from FFR and all your receipts and your good.
Thanks Joe for the help with the bill of sale.
Mike
Now you definitly need to come to the cookout. Congrats. Let the fun begin!
I have plates!!! Took it for its maiden voyage. Needs an alignment real bad. That and it overheated. Must have a air pocket somewhere. The pipe going into the top of the radiator is very hot. The lower one coming out is cold.
mike
Excellent news on the plates!

Congrats! Get one of those vacuum coolant filler setups from Amazon for like $80.
Michael does the car have to be complete and running to get through the state police kit car inspection? I have no body or wiring yet. Looks like I need to get in line early before the car is complete so I am not frustrated waiting.
Davis
Congratulations Mike. News we've been waiting to hear. When you get a bit of time can you give us more detail on what they actually looked for? I have a few more hours on the body and the interior to complete and I'm ready to go.
Ivan
Congratulations! It's good to know that it is possible to register these once I get done building.
