    Willow Springs Weekend

This weekend held a great meeting at Willow Springs raceway: the CS reunion.

Not so much for seeing CS, but much more for FFR’s friends that were racing as well as the other cars on the track and the beautiful Californian weather.

John, Keith, Jeff and Mr. WireDiet represented the unofficial team Factory Five!

    Hi Doug,
Victoria and I and the grandkids have reserved the RV for the October event. Hope to see you and Linda then. Bring an appetizer.

Will do John. It's been two since I've been able to get the roadster on the track and I'm really looking forward to it. I was able to participate in a 500 lap enduro in Karts during the Memorial Day weekend. It was a blast but I came away with black and blue bruises on my back from the seat and the G's in the corners. I'd take the roadster any day.

    Hi guys,

Thanks for the great replies. I just ordered my kit and live in Los Angeles. Can't wait to join in on some of the outtings and meet the guys. I often go to Bob's Big Boy in Glendale on Friday nights. It's not much right now (chilly) but in the summer it's packed. Cars of all shapes and sizes (classics, hot-rods, one-offs) show up. There is one, completely original, peeling paint and all '65 Cobra that comes out on occasion.

Keep in touch. I'm also potentially looking for a cheap place to build my car. Any suggestions would be welcome. Anywhere in the LA area for weekend and evening build time.

    Thanks again, Damon
