Modification for passenger side coolant lines

So I ran both of my coolant lines down the passenger side, and ran a clearance issue with my rear fender/side body piece. This is what I did as a solution, since I couldn't really get the lines lower/closer together.

I figured this would work since I don't have doors that will open. I'm going to put some of this on the edge with the coolant pipe. It forms to surfaces really nicely. Wish I knew about this stuff before I started the build! I can post more detailed pictures of the cutaway if anyone is curious. I plan to do the reverse notch on the door piece for this side.

Any one else have a different solution for this?

Just curious - why did you put both lines on the passenger side?

    Evan,

I did this for ballast. I know one of the cars FFR built did the same, and I believe some other members have done it as well.

Here's a pic of what it looked like without body panels.

    Ah, that makes sense. Thanks.
