Are all the 20th A roadsters sold?

Just wondering if there are any 20TH Anniversary versions left unsold?

Do you expect FF5 will have the rear end issue sorted out soonest. I am on the fence about what to order. Seems that a optioned out standard roadster is not too far from reaching the cost of the 20TH. In rough numbers, what is the cost of the required 2015 Mustang IRS components. Will be my first build and I would like to make an intelligent choice.

Not sure what you mean by sorted out. You can get the 2015 Mustang IRS on a regular kit as well as the 20th anniversary model. In addition to the Coupe and Hot Rod. I don't know how many they've actually delivered yet though. My guess is not too many, if any. The anniversary Roadster model isn't cheap, that's for sure, but it's a good choice if you're considering a highly optioned kit and want the upgraded parts it offers. Plus the attraction of being a special edition. To be honest, I'm a little surprised there are any anniversary models left. I wouldn't wait very long if you're serious about wanting one. JMO

Regarding the IRS components, looks like the parts required are going to be in the $1300 - $1500 range. Here's a recent thread on the subject with a little more info, in case you didn't see it. http://thefactoryfiveforum.com/showt...ar-axle-source

Based on our experience w/ trading my wife's 2010 Mustang GT on a 2015 GT, I wouldn't hesitate to order whichever you want as long as the new IRS is part of the deal. To me this is a game changer well worth it even if it does end up being more $.
FFR MkII, 408W, Tremec TKO 500, 2015 IRS, DA QA1s, Forte front bar, APE hardtop.

Awesome! If you haven't see it in person, you will like it. I really do. (Obviously). Good luck when you call tomorrow.

As one of the lucky 20, I'm really looking forward to building a 20th Anniv. Should be a fun build and one that will have lots of support from the FFR Roadster group. Edwardb has already been of great help to me as a first builder, and the rest of the forum members are very knowledgable and anxious to assist.
Good luck tomorrow I hope your successful in securing one of the 20.

Didn't sleep well last night. Having a bloody mary in place of coffee this morning, to soften the blow if the news is negative. Will switch to tequila should I get good news.

I suggest you check your supply of Cuervo, Lime, and Salt. My source indicates good news regarding availability of a 20 th anniversary!

After getting the bad news this morning from FFR, no amount of booze can ease the pain. Time to move ahead with plan B. FFR is working with the dozen or so people that all missed their desire to get one of the last few. Might have to come up with Special Edition model for us stragglers.

Sorry to hear that since you obviously really wanted one. Those last few went quick, and then some! You could pretty much duplicate the same Roadster setup with available options. Just wouldn't have the special badging or FFR applied silver and white powder coat.

    OUCH!
This morning I was told there were 5 remaining. But, talking with FFR just now I learned they had orders for16 prior to this weekend and THIS WEEKEND they got orders for 11 more. (Which means they were oversold)
Sorry you missed out but FFR said they will be assisting with add-ons just short of the serialization.

Got over that pretty quick. Now I have to get a better feeling on the new Mustang IRS that FFR is offering. Considering the significant cost increase of the straight axel set up, and the yet to be worked out deal with Ford, I am not sure I want the IRS that badly. Will see what FFR comes up with in terms of "attractive" pricing. The good news is FFR is only a four drive away. Man, I am so pumped up now that the order has been placed, and being retired, I will work on the car full time.
