Brian I used Trans Dapt locking hood pins on my engine cover and trunk. After I installed a few I realized each set has a different key. One set of keys has A2817 on it and another has A2036. I have two more sets unopened, no idea what the key # is for them. How do I get 4 sets with matching keys or how do I trade sets with someone?

Dan. What is the name of the company that made your locking hood pins? What is the vendor that you bough them from? I bought them from Summit Racing and their locking hood pins all have different keys. Also I would like a solution to hinging the front hood. Give me your address and I will visit you when you have time.

Whichever place I can see solutions for hinging the front hood. I don't really want to use 4 hood pins an have to take the hood off to check coolant. Thanks

Brian. When you ordered the hood pins from Auto Zone did you specify you wanted them all keyed alike or do they just all come like that? The ones I got from Summit Racing have each set keyed differently. No way to order them all similar.

You can't really check the coolant in the front. The engine is higher than the radiator, so it will just poor out.
Check it at the Filler (degas) tank on top the engine, Mechie3 is making a real nice hood hinge, so you only need 2 hood pins.

I have an overflow bottle on the drivers side of radiator. On the passenger side there is a nipple that used to go to the tank on top of engine. Do I have to plumb a line back from the radiator to the engine top tank or can I just plug the nipples. Also have a second overflow bottle. Should I connect the second overflow tank to the nipple under the cap on the engine top tank?
    Thanks

The latest manual has you run passenger side nipple to the degas tank. No overflow tank in front.

Nice FFR photo, the crush brace needs to be on the other side of the bracket at the front for the inner fender aluminum to line up properly... Nice to see that they chopped off that nose support pad, mine were too long and too wide

They now run the overflow line from the front rad nipple back to the rear overflow tank?

No, They run the nipple on the radiator (pressurized) to the filler (degas) tank on top of the engine.
The pressure relief valve on the filler (degas) tank goes to the overflow bottle.

Nice! Not bad at all. We added spacers on our license plate lights to get them out enough.

Be prepared for the brakes, wipers, and e-brakes next time - they tested all 3 on our car (although the things they test seem to be really random and do not follow the requirements list at all it seems like). For the e-brake, they had us pull it and then try to drive away against it.

    When do you go back?
