Want to buy trunk latch bracket

I am missing the bracket that the trunk latch attaches to and would like to buy one for an MK3 roadster.
    Thank you, Joe

Same response I posted over on the other forum: It's in the same box as the hood and trunk handles. Have you called Factory Five? Just by looking in their catalog, they don't sell only the trunk handle. They sell the whole set, since they're keyed alike. http://www.factoryfiveparts.com/thre...and-fasteners/. Maybe they would sell just the part you're missing. Or maybe they would tell you where you could buy it. It doesn't look like a part they make. Yes, it could be fabricated, but it's steel and dimensions need to be pretty close for it to work as designed.

My response is also the same as on the other forum (my friend edwardb and I follow each other around ). Try contacting forum member Dale; he is doing a remote trunk release without the handle and might be able to help you out with his unused parts.

As my friends above noted, I'm all set thanks to the great people on the forum.
