You would also need the harness that connects to the sensor and the signal line would plug into my system.

Still tweaking graphics. It has been a busy week, but I'll try to have a static screen by the weekend at least.

You can order a basic system if you're using the LCDi as a secondary display with odometer, or the complete system which has an Odometer, tripA, trib B

I did promise an update, but I'm far from finished. This is just a rough outline of what I have completed so far.

The graphics had to be programmed from scratch because the image file was not good enough for resolution.

I'm hoping to have the needles and tach ring finished by end of the week so the video demo can be uploaded, then I can worry about colours
    and adding to the graphics.

Getting closer to complete. A very difficult gauge to replicate because of all the layering and detail.

As per previos post, it's not complete. Maybe 50% with graphics, but most of the functions are done.

I'll have more updates after this weekend.

Here is the mostly finished Aventador gauge. Colour tweaks and mior graphic enhancements forthcoming, but otherwise fully functional.

I'll have this model tested in my car and release a proper video, as well as update my website.

Thank you for being patient, this is a huge project!

Parts have arrived for the final assembly. My goal is to have a new website launched with all of the system information, downloads, videos, etc. setup for
    Jan 1. 2017.

The current website is out-dated and a bit basic, but you are welcome to read the latest while I work away. Notice that some of the links don't work yet
as I continue to format the page:
    http://www.procision-auto.com/lcdgauges.html

The first circuit board test is scheduled for this coming weekend as the final bits get soldered into place. These proto-type circuit boards are outstanding and
are better than some production level boards that I've worked on. I'll be using this company again for future projects, no questions asked!

I'd like to unveil the new website which was redesigned to promote the LCD gauge systems. There are still a few documents to complete
and some demo software to upload for user evaluation, but otherwise I'm ready to take orders.

Also note, I am providing Data Loggers for those that don't want to change their gauges, but want
to record the performance of their vehicle.

If you have some free time, please navigate through the website and let me know if you have any questions about the software or hardware
    that is available.

    http://www.procision-auto.com

Once I have the User Manual, Install Manual, and Demo software uploaded I will start a new thread for taking orders. Alternatively, if you
like what you already see, feel free to message me to order your system at any time.

Thank you and Happy New Year!

Thank you! I've spent more time on this project than building the GTM over the last year.
Not because the car is not worthy, but because the amount of development and testing required
to reach a production level product is never-ending.

As I'm writing this I'm putting the finishing touches on the Data Logger Product Sheet which
will be uploaded to my website this weekend.

If you don't mind, I'll answer your PM questions here so everyone else can learn more as well.

    Tablet Preference:

The Acer Switch 10 is what I chose after comparing several tablets. It has a low power design
with an LED backlight so it runs much cooler. This is critical for battery life, charge time,
and operating temperature while installed in the dash.

It has stereo front facing speakers which makes the tones more audible over the quite loud
    GTM interior.

The dimensions also make it easier to install in the dash pod with minimal shimming of the
    steering column.

Lastly, it has a 12 VDC power input which makes converting from the vehicle's electrical source
    much simpler.

    Start/Boot-up Time:

I've setup the tablet to enter sleep mode once the ignition is shut off. The allows about three
to four days of tablet battery life and a near instant boot-up when starting the vehicle (1-2 seconds).
You will see the gauges almost right away.

If you have to start from an "off-state" for any reason, the Acer Switch 10 will load to ready
desktop state in about seventeen seconds.

For those that don't drive their car every 3-4 days, I'm configuring a relay to charge the tablet
from the vehicle battery, or external USB port to prevent a "cold boot" condition.

It turns out I'll need a little more time to complete the PDF for the data logger, but here's a teaser of what i'm working on for the Playback Software. I'll most likely use an overlay style gauge cluster that floats over the video for maximum size.

A little update as I continue to find more gauges to simulate. Coming soon will be some Ferrari, Lamborghini, and Custom skins.

Here are some high resolution images that can be modified and used a backdrops.

considering what happened concerning that tw4twaffle who stole your pictures, it would be a good idea to water mark your images.

Thanks Narkosys, that's a good idea moving forward.

In this instance, the image they ripped off was a hand-drawn representation of a module which had little value. More importantly,
they copied my text word-for-word that describes the operation of my system and NOT theirs. Pathetic.

I've gone as far as taking my own photos, designing logos, and editing PDF's from scratch (like most professionals do). This is what
    the website images started from:

    module.jpg

and ended up like this with a bit of editing. Take note you thieves!

    datalogger.jpgshiftled.jpg

The only image I haven't created was the Top-Down Icon used for the Door/Hood/Hatch status which was taken by Michael (RumRunner) and credit was given.

We'll wait patiently for the competitors to review these last messages and respond to my email. I know they are watching, and they may even drop by to say hello.

    Tino,

I'm floored by that low life company and by that "tw4twaffle" (thanks for the new word narkosys) Vaydor! Thanks Tino for your hard work and innovation, our community is better off for it.

By the way, your module is coming along nicely. I'll be doing a complete bench test soon (will video for you) and then an in-car trail before sending it off.

It would be really easy to 3d print a bezel then dip it (hydrographics) in carbon fiber or whatever pattern you want.
Here's a pic of dipped plastic

At the moment my dash is ripped apart to repair a clicking in the steering column.

What I can do is photograph / video the dash pod on my desk with the screen and bezel in place to give you some idea.

That looks really cool! At the moment my bezel is skinned with actual carbon fiber material, but I didn't do a very good job. A 3D printer has been on my wish list for a while,
and it may be time to pull the trigger.

I'll checkout the hydrographics. Gene (FastThings) did an amazing job with his interior; this could be a better alternative to skinning with CF cloth.

Yes, this is already an option. The manifold pressure can be taken from OBDII or a quicker reacting real-time sensor.

There are other optional inputs like oil pressure, fuel pressure, TPS, and more that can be seen on Page 1 of this thread.

Here are some screen shots for T4Twins

Additional sensors can be added depending on options. They can be displayed full time, or switched
on/off using the configuration file or the Menu screen.

By pressing the MENU button a selection screen will appear where you can select which gauges
you want to see, or clear the screen for a less busy read-out.

This is an example of how the gauges might appear with just basic information showing.

I will also do a video to demonstrate all of the features in real-time and give some details as to
    how it all works.

Looks really good to me. Looking forward to the video. Should be sending you the deposit next week to get you started on mine. Want to get it in sooner then later since the wiring and such will be started on next week and hopefully also getting my engine back from getting its upgrades

Here is a quick walk-through video of the system in real-time. Please don't mind the video quality as I'm recording a computer screen with a camera. I really need to invest
in video capture software to illustrate the correct resolution of the display.

Even the compression used to make the video for YouTube format degrades the quality to a lower level. For that reason, I'm only going to make the video available via this
link and cannot be found by searching YouTube or my channel! Please refer to the other screen shots in this thread as they represent the actual graphic quality, NOT this video!
