CNC reservoir & Whitby PB kit

I have the Whitby power brake kit installed and I am trying to decide the best location for my dual CNC reservoirs.
If I mount adjacent to booster, should I bring it out from the 3/4 chassis frame to allow access once body is on? Should the top of reservoir be in line with the 3/4 frame?

or, would it be better on firewall between air cleaner and DS footwell? This would be higher I guess. If this is preferred, what is the distance from firewall to hood opening at this point?

Does anyone else have CNC and Whitby PB?

    Thanks
    Ian
Finally started my build the beginning July. 2015!

    Ian,
I don't have an answer to your question but I do have a suggestion. How about mounting the reservoirs temporarily until you get the body mounted and then your can do the final fitting more precisely.
Good luck with your project. Maybe someone else will be able to give you better advice.

I concur Bill. I'm going to wait until body is in position to see. I've been struggling with the same issue Ian and finally decided to wait. Nick

Here is where I mounted mine

I originally had them on the firewall, but even with my firewall 3" forward and 1/2" spacers between the reservoirs and the firewall, the caps were still inaccessible to fill.

You can see where they used to be and how much room there is on the firewall (351w on mine)

Thanks for the pic. That is where I really would prefer the reservoirs, next to the booster. Nice. Nick

I mounted mine in the same place as Nuke.
