Question can a Spyder GT use the new IRS system?

I know you guys made a new IRS system for the 33 hot rod, MK4, and Type 65 coupe, but can i take that and use it on a Spyder GT?

You could fit the parts on the chassis but the new IRS is not a single cage that retrofits like the old one. There is no easy way for us to give an update package without having a large complex tool to locate the parts during the install.

Glad to see FF replied. Specifically Jim. Perfect. Just to add to what he said, here's the new IRS setup in my recently delivered Roadster, and another with the 2015 Mustang center section installed. Would not be an easy retrofit.

Is that why it won't retro on the 33 either?
it looked like the lower front mounts for the 33 were quite different for the IRS than the LCA's had.

Yes, same reason for the 33. The parts would weld up to the chassis but be very difficult to locate them, particularly on a finished car. Also there are some tabs that we leave off that mount the solid axle but would be in the way of an IRS.
