    Question MKIII replacement rear shocks

I was curious if replacement rear shocks for a MKIII Roadster are available from Factory Five, or is the only choice outside Vendors?
    Thanks for reading my post!

I don't think FFR has Bilstein shocks anymore but they have Konis that work on the MKIII. I believe some of the MKIIIs came with Konis in the kit but it was after my kit.

    WEK.

Yes, Mk3's were sold with Koni's. They're available on FF's website. Solid axle: http://www.factoryfiveparts.com/road...coil-over-kit/ IRS: http://www.factoryfiveparts.com/koni...retro-fit-kit/

    That is great!
Thanks for the replies, and the links as well!
I had the unfortunate experience of going out to my car and seeing an oil-puddle directly under my passenger rear shock.
In a drive after this discovery, it definitely felt like it was a "spring-only" show in that rear corner; no dampening going over bumps at all.
I looked at the Koni's that FF has to offer, and also discovered a set of "Proma Stars" Breeze has for sale.
The different brands are competitively priced.
Any input on these (or any other different models available ?), would be most welcome.
Thanks again for the very helpful replies!!!

I don't have any personal experience with QA1's, like those sold by Breeze. But many recommend them. Certainly another option over the FF standard Koni's.

I just aquired a MK3 with solid axle. I am looking for replacement rear shocks and I way wondering if these were still the only or best options out there. Also, if I do go the coil-over route, can I reuse the shocks if I go to the 3-link setup? I understand the spring rates are different, but I am wondering if they are the same shocks.
