Lance's 818C build in Hamersville, Ohio

Well, hello fellow FFR members. I've been reading the forums lately, getting ready for my build. Thank you all for your inputs, as I'm sure they will be useful. I've never built an entire car before, so this will be an experience like no other. I've been hacking at metal all my life, though this time it's for myself. I have a few ideas to make the car better, so with any luck, I can add my inputs as well.

I would like to thank Bob_n_Cincy for his hospitality. Michael and Bob were more than willing to show me anything I wanted to see, as well as answer all my questions. Tank you for the insight into the project which I am about to undertake. We discussed alternate possibilities for the shifter and exhaust systems. Gives me lots to think about. As of now, I still don't have my donor car, but my kit is due in mid October. I've cleaned out ample space in my shop for the big day! Trying to be patient.

Best of luck Lance. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Just remember the body parts may seem like the won't fit at first but it will all come together. It's a good little kit.

Thanks Bob. After I had already made my turbo setup, I was watching a car show which revealed a very similar setup on a racing Porsche. I may be on to something?
