    Floor mats?

Anyone find floormats that look good in the 818? My carpet on the driver side is already a mess in just a couple of months. Factory Five? Bet you could make some money on these.

That stuff is too heavy. Just spray the floor with some 3M77 then sprinkle on a pinch of sand

Those look nice. I'd buy a pair. Would be great if the driver's side had some rubber where the heel rests.

Ok, the floor mats are $95/set. I can have "818" embroidered on then in your choice of colors for $15 extra. Heel mat on the drivers side is $4 extra. Custom logos can be done and pricing will depend on logo/number of colors/stitches.

This is extremely tempting. What is on the back side (rubber spikeys like OEM mats?)? Do you think the buyer could fit a couple grommets on them and make little posts (or buttons) like OEM mats to keep them from sliding around? Tough to tell from the picture, but how close is the black to the FFR black carpet?

    Thanks!
    Bill

Blank? with "818"? stitch color? Carpet edge stitching color? main carpet color?

I can have hook grommets installed. The black is very close to the FFR color but the mat is much higher quality of carpet.

Edit (black was auto-corrected to "blank" somehow)
Black. Black main color, black stitching. Yellow 818 in Neuropol. Heel pad.

Let me know how much to send you paypal.

Do you think the impact font is similar to the "FFR" on my brake calipers?

I guess a picture that works would be nice:

I like that font as well. Curious to hear what it is. Kind of looks like an Italics version of Audiowide or Expletus Sans. I think I like the Expletus Sans version of the number 818 better.

Ugh, the more I look at "818" in any font, the more I dislike it.

While not in an 818, I used polished diamond plate as mats in our Roadster.

Where do I buy? Were you able to find a font similar to my brake calipers?

https://www.averysfloormats.com/ is who made mine, they said they would no longer put any numbers that were trademarked so that's why I didn't pursue selling them. I can sell you VCP logo ones!

    Goodyear floor mats

After looking around online for a while I found some floor mats I liked today at Costco. They're rubber Goodyear cut to size - probably not for everyone but I thought I'd post them up in case they work for someone else. They were $18.99.

I saw those at the Costco near work and made a mental note to consider them when the time comes.

The cut floor mats look good... a tad raw, but they work. I still plan on custom floor mats for mine... I just need to find a poster board or 2 so that I can cut the template to send to Avery... just another item on an ever-growing to-do list.
